At TaleCards, we strive to provide the highest quality storytelling experience for your family. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be issued for TaleCards subscriptions and purchases made through Wonderring Technologies.
Important: We encourage you to try our free trial period before purchasing a subscription. This allows you to experience TaleCards and ensure it meets your family's needs before making a financial commitment.
Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered under the following circumstances:
- Technical issues that prevent access to the Platform or Content, which we are unable to resolve within a reasonable timeframe
- Unauthorized charges to your account (subject to verification)
- Billing errors or duplicate charges
- Subscription purchased by mistake, requested within 48 hours of purchase
- Dissatisfaction with service quality, requested within 7 days of initial subscription purchase (one-time courtesy only)
Non-Refundable Items
The following are generally not eligible for refunds:
- Partial subscription periods (refunds are not prorated for remaining days in a billing cycle)
- Subscriptions cancelled after the refund eligibility period has expired
- Free trial conversions to paid subscriptions (unless requested within 48 hours)
- Promotional or discounted subscriptions, unless otherwise specified
- Account terminations due to Terms of Service violations
No Cancellation Policy: TaleCards does not require advance cancellation before refund requests. However, we recommend reviewing your subscription status before requesting a refund to avoid future charges.
Refund Request Process
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Contact Support
Reach out to our customer support team within the eligible timeframe via email at admin@wonderring.in or call +91-9003045928. Please provide your account details and reason for the refund request.
Step 2: Request Review
Our team will review your refund request within 2 business days. We may contact you for additional information or to attempt to resolve any technical issues.
Step 3: Refund Approval
If your request is approved, you will receive a confirmation email with details about the refund amount and processing timeline.
Step 4: Processing
Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days from the approval date. The refund will be credited to your original payment method.
Step 5: Confirmation
Once the refund is processed, you will receive a final confirmation. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 3-5 business days for the funds to appear in your account.
Refund Timeframes
Request Submission Deadlines
- Accidental Purchase: Within 48 hours of purchase
- Quality Dissatisfaction: Within 7 days of initial subscription purchase (first-time subscribers only)
- Technical Issues: Within 14 days of the issue being reported and unresolved
- Billing Errors: Within 30 days of the erroneous charge
Processing Timeline
- Review: 2 business days
- Processing: 5-7 business days after approval
- Bank Credit: Additional 3-5 business days (varies by financial institution)
Fast-Track Processing: Requests for billing errors or unauthorized charges are prioritized and may be processed more quickly.
Subscription Cancellation
While we don't have a formal cancellation policy requiring advance notice, you can cancel your TaleCards subscription at any time by:
- Visiting your account settings in the app and selecting "Cancel Subscription"
- Contacting customer support via email or phone
- Managing subscriptions through your App Store or Google Play account (for mobile app subscriptions)
Upon cancellation, you will retain access to TaleCards until the end of your current billing period. No refund will be provided for the remaining days of that period unless you qualify under our refund eligibility criteria.
Special Circumstances
Platform Unavailability
If TaleCards experiences extended downtime or service interruptions beyond our control, we may offer prorated credits or refunds at our discretion. Users will be notified via email about any such situations.
Content Removal
If stories or content that were a primary reason for your subscription are removed from the Platform, you may request a partial refund for the remaining subscription period. Such requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Price Changes
If subscription prices increase during your current billing cycle, the new price will apply only upon renewal. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days in advance of any price changes. You may request a refund if you do not wish to continue at the new price, provided you cancel before the renewal date.
App Store and Google Play Refunds
For subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, refund requests must be submitted through the respective platform:
- Apple App Store: Visit reportaproblem.apple.com or request a refund through your purchase history
- Google Play Store: Request a refund within 48 hours of purchase through the Google Play app or visit support.google.com/googleplay
Refunds processed through these platforms are subject to their respective refund policies. Wonderring Technologies does not control refund approvals for third-party platform purchases.
Note: If you receive a refund from Apple or Google, your TaleCards subscription will be immediately cancelled, and you will lose access to premium features.
Exceptions and Final Decisions
All refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Wonderring Technologies reserves the right to approve or deny refund requests at our sole discretion, particularly for:
- Repeated refund requests from the same account
- Suspected abuse of the refund policy
- Accounts with a history of Terms of Service violations
Our decision on refund requests is final. However, if you believe your request was denied in error, you may submit an appeal to our customer support team with additional documentation or explanation.
